Steak Shapiro, Host of Atlanta Eats, Honored with 2021 Emmy Win for “Best Host”

ATLANTA (June 24, 2021) –Atlanta Eats is honored to announce an Emmy win this past Saturday, June 19, 2021 at the Southeast Emmy Awards. Atlanta Eats’ host and creator won in the Best Talent-Program Host/Moderator Correspondent category. This award marks the fifth overall Southeast Emmy Win for Atlanta Eats in the company’s history. Atlanta Eats has built a large, passionate audience while covering the dining scene in both Atlanta and the Southeast, and this Emmy win is a recognition of the quality of its original content as well as Steak Shapiro’s prowess as a host and media personality.

“I am so proud of our show, our entire team and the fact that I could win an award for stuffing my face in every neighborhood in Atlanta–that’s called a dream job,” said Steak Shapiro, Atlanta Eats’ creator and host. Former Atlanta Eats Executive Producer Scott Chalk was also nominated for Best Director in the Long Form Content Category.
