The Best Restaurants for Your Next Power Lunch

Atlanta is all about business. Besides being known as the “City That’s too Busy to Hate”, Atlanta’s economy is in the top 20 – not just in America, but globally. And for every deal that closes around ATL, it usually happens at a restaurant known for its “Power Lunches”. We’ve put together a few places that are the perfect environment for closing your next deal.

With locations in Buckhead and downtown, Amalfi is conveniently located near ATL’s corridors of power. Keep business casual and split a pizza or plan on a longer lunch and indulge in a delicious truffle risotto. If it extends into Happy Hour, you can’t go wrong with an Aperol Spritz or something from their wine list.

Atlanta Fish Market

265 Pharr Rd, NE, Atlanta, GA 30305
How many deals have been closed at Atlanta Fish Market? They’ve been open since 1993, so you can imagine there have been a few. And since most power lunches are on the company’s dime, you can only imagine how many seafood towers and lobsters they’ve sold over the years. But for good reason! For 30 years, they haven’t skipped a beat.

Buckhead and Midtown aren’t the only areas with power lunches around Atlanta – there’s plenty of deals to be closed in the suburbs, too. C&S is the perfect place for anyone in Vinings, Sandy Springs and Brookhaven looking for a business lunch location. You can order most of their incredible menu at lunch, but look out for delicious lobster rolls (made cold/Maine style or hot/Connecticut style), a sensational Shrimp Po’Boy, and a one of a kind Nashville Hot Crispy Fish sandwich.

Chops

70 W Paces Ferry Rd NW, Atlanta, GA 30305
We can’t write a blog about power lunches and not include one of Atlanta’s most iconic steakhouses, can we? Chops is located in the heart of Buckhead, and like their sister restaurant Atlanta Fish Market, they’ve been seeing deals closed for decades. If there’s a celebration to be had, you can’t go wrong with a round of martinis, either.

Some deals don’t need white glove service. The best way to close may be casual – over a shared platter of smoked meat. With a deserved reputation as Atlanta’s best BBQ, and locations that are bright and airy (especially the one we frequent at The Works), there’s a lot of great reasons to consider Fox Bros for your next closing.

Another power lunch place in Vinings, OK Cafe has been helping business people close deals in a casual setting since 1987. With a focus on old fashioned Southern fare, you can please prospects of all ages with a blue plate special at your next power lunch.

Lock in the terms of your deal over a rack of lamb, kabobs, house made hummus and more.

The Chastain

4320 Powers Ferry Rd NW, Atlanta, GA 30342
Chastain Park is one of Atlanta’s toniest neighborhoods, with beautiful parklands sitting right in the middle, and a sensational restaurant to accompany it – The Chastain. With everyone working from home to some extent these days (yes, even the CEOs), a beautiful restaurant that’s close by to help close a deal is a rare thing, indeed. Hash out the details over Red Wine Braised Short Rib or Chicken Schnitzel, and end it with an espresso (if you need a pick me up for those deals that don’t end up closing).
