Food Terminal is a Malaysian staple in Atlanta, and is run by the same owners as Sweet Hut Bakery, known for their Asian baked goods and incredible Boba Tea options. They even have some Tapioca infused alcoholic drinks for those looking to booze up a Boba. When at Food Terminal, check out the Milk Tea options to find the best boba, which includes Thai Tea, Taro Milk Tea, Hong Kong Milk Tea and Ipoh Coffee.

Boba Tea and waffles from Waffle Bar.

Waffle Bar

1245 Glenwood Ave SE, Atlanta, GA 30316
(404) 267-1469
In East Atlanta Village food hall Southern Feedstore, you can find a wonderful hidden gem – Waffle Bar. The menu focuses primarily on hearty fried chicken fingers and a variety of sweet and savory waffles, but we really love their Boba Tea, too. Choose between Black, Ginger Plum, and King Crimson teas, then select among a variety of flavors including Matcha, Mango and Chocolate Mint. Customize it further with your own milk and topping – including lycheee jelly, Mango, and Tapioca – for the Boba you’ve been yearning for.

With four locations around metro Atlanta and more coming soon, Unbeliebubble has struck a formula for making delicious Boba tea that people love. At Unbelibubble, they focus on freshness, using premium loose leaf tea that’s steeped in house every morning, fresh boba made throughout the day, Japanese sourced organic matcha which is whisked fresh to order, and all natural house made syrups and purees. Try the Thai Milk Tea with Lychee jelly, the Strawberry Matcha Latte, or if you’re with a first time Boba drinker, the Cookies and Cream Ice Blended.

Kung Fu Tea

Multiple Locations – see website for details
When it comes to nationally recognized Boba brands, Kung Fu tea may be the best known. And for good reason – despite their size (they have 8 locations around metro Atlanta alone), they continue to innovate on Boba and other milk tea oriented drinks. Our personal favorite is the Milk Cap, which includes a thick layer of subtly salty milk, which goes perfect with their cocoa cream. You should be able to find a Kung Fu tea near you, but if not, grab one at Ph’east the next time you’re at the Battery for a Braves game.

Tea Top

6035 Peachtree Rd Suite A-117, Doraville, GA 30360
(678) 813-5185
The H Mart shopping center in Doraville is well known for having some of Atlanta’s best Asian bites all in one place, so it stands to reason that they’d have an excellent Boba tea place there too, and they do with Tea Top. Tea Top has dozens of excellent options, including popular items like the Lemon Green Tea with Crushed ice, the Earl Gray Milk Tea and Milk Foam Oolong Tea. They also make their boba in house with delicious flavors like Passion fruit, blueberry, green apple and strawberry.

Sharetea

5975 Roswell Rd UNIT 209, Sandy Springs, GA 30328
(404) 963-1198
With a reach across four continents, Sharetea may be one of the most global Boba Tea shops in Atlanta, but you can find our outpost in Sandy Springs. Sharetea originated in Taiwan, which some say is where Boba Tea originated from, so Sharetea may have been making boba the longest of anyone, even if our Atlanta outpost is relatively new. Try the QQ Happy Family Milk Tea or their non alcoholic mojitos, with an extra minty kick.

Pearl’s Tea is a Georgia based milk tea company that is growing rapidly, with 7 locations throughout metro Atlanta already. They have Instagram friendly interiors and an approachable, youthful take on Boba Tea, making it popular with first time boba tasters. Try their great Milk Teas and Cream Dreams (with a cheesecake cream topping) and bring your kids – they have excellent kid friendly latte and boba options.
