Breadwinner Cafe

A lunch focused sandwich and soup shop with locations in Dunwoody and Sandy Springs, Breadwinner Cafe has an excellent turkey chili. Using a three bean blend, along with ground turkey, tomatoes and chili seasoning, it’s a perfect place to stop and get a bowl on a chilly day. Pro tip – ask for a piece of toast to dip in to that delicious, spicy broth.
Fox Bros BBQ

When it comes to a GREAT bowl of chili, it helps to start with a good base – in this case, we’re talking meat. At Fox Bros BBQ, they use their slow cooked brisket for their chili, adding rich savory flavor to this delicious dish. If you’re feeling really adventurous, try it inside of their Frito pie for some added salty crunch (and a fun bag to eat it out of!).
Grind House Killer Burgers

Most folks know Grindhouse Killer Burgers for their delicious flattop cooked burgers and movie lover theme. And like a Richard Linklater movie, the chili is straight from Texas. They use a magnificent mix of meats for their chili, including brisket, ground beef and chorizo. Order some crinkle cut fries and cheddar cheese sauce with it for a fully indulgent meal.

When it comes to an indulgent chili, you can’t do worse than Lucky’s. It comes covered with plenty of cheddar cheese, hearty ground beef chunks, onions, sour cream, jalapeño and tater tot “croutons”. Indulge with a bowl at Lucky’s at either their Roswell or Marietta locations!

Owner Jenny Levison’s turkey chili recipe is famous – seriously, google “Souper Jenny chili” and you’ll see dozens of links to her famous pot of the good stuff. With a bean heavy recipe and a focus on lean turkey meat, you’ll get great texture in this beautiful bowl. Head to Souper Jenny on a cold day for this super satisfying bowl.
The Vortex

The Vortex is famous for a many things, a couple being their awesome burgers and the Laughing Skull Lounge, the worlds smallest full time comedy club. But did you know they also serve killer chili? You can either get the spicy beef chili, tasty turkey chili or go for the 50/50 chili which has a little bit of both if you just can’t decide.
