Steak Shapiro, Founder/Host of Atlanta Eats TV, To Open New Vegan Steakhouse Called “The Bald Vegan”
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
ATLANTA (April 1, 2022) – Steak Shapiro, the founder and host of Atlanta Eats TV, has announced he will be opening a new restaurant concept and vegan steakhouse called The Bald Vegan.
“I was really inspired by what Pinky Cole did with Slutty Vegan so I decided to put my own spin on things with the Bald Vegan and serve Atlanta exactly what it’s been asking for, some great vegan steaks,” said Shapiro.
Steak Shapiro plans to helm the kitchen of The Bald Vegan himself. His recipe for vegan steak was meticulously crafted over the past week and a half or so, and consists of a head of broccoli, a bag of green beans, and an Impossible burger patty blended together in a blender. The resulting mixture is then carefully shaped by Steak’s own hands into a T-bone steak shape.
“It tastes really good with some hot sauce. It’s actually inedible without hot sauce, in fact,” says Shapiro. “I really hope this works out. I am a little worried now that I think about it that I didn’t think things through enough.”
The Bald Vegan will seat 400 and opens April 1, 2023.
