Where To Get Delicious Hot Pot in Atlanta
Simmering, sensational hot pot is a fantastic way to warm yourself up in the cold winter weather (or enjoy any other time of the year)! Perfect for group dining, hot pot is a cooking technique and cuisine that originated in China with many regional variations. For those unfamiliar with this cuisine, a flame in the middle of a dining table keeps a pot of flavorful broth simmering, and you’ll add delicious meat and vegetables to the broth and cook them to your liking. It’s an interactive and delicious way to enjoy your meal amongst friends. Here are some of our favorites around town!

1. China Hot Pot

Sit down around bowls of simmering broth and dunk in your favorite vegetables and meats for a filling and delicious meal of all-you-can-eat hot pot. Customize your food at the saue bar. The meats are sliced thin so cooking is a breeze, and it truly does feel like every ingredient is so fresh. This popular spot can get pretty filled up, so be prepared for a bit of a wait. Be sure to order their green scallion pancake!
2. Chong Qing Hot Pot
5385 New Peachtree Rd, Chamblee, GA 30341
The portions are truly plentiful at this Chamblee outpost in the Chinatown mall. They have all sorts of Chinese cuisine, including lots of Sichuan favorites, but their super affordably priced seafood and beef hot pots are some of our favorites. Try the fried crispy pork hot pot for a bit of a twist. This is a food court spot, so be aware the digs are pretty low-key, but the portions, flavors and prices are all fabulous.
3. Chuan Yu Hot Pot
1300 Peachtree Industrial Blvd. Unit 3101 Suwanee, GA 30024
Chuan Yu is a really excellent all-you-can-eat hot pot spot. They have an individual hot pot option as well as a split pot option. Try the bone broth or the spicy broth, which you can get at varying levels of spiciness to suit your taste!
4. Good Harvest
Good Harvest is unmatched for fantastic Chinese hot pot in Atlanta. Gather around and add ingredients like meat, seafood, and leafy vegetables to a simmering pot of soup stock that is one part show and all parts deliciousness. Something different they do is serve “dry” hotpots with unique meats like frog. Be sure to also order their “charpati,” an addicting flat bread/pancake that’s popular in regions like India and Nepal.
5. Hot Pot Times
There’s no shortage of good Asian food in Duluth. At Duluth’s Hot Pot Times, you can enjoy a $20 all-you-can-eat (AYCE) lunch from 12 PM to 4 PM on Saturdays–you’re not going to find a better deal than that.
6. J’s Mini Hot Pot Deluxe

Choose from 4 flavors of simmering broths. Each person gets their individual pot so you can add flavors to your liking. The interiors are a simple but modern and clean bright green. They also have a Duluth location. Be advised that some diners find the broth starts out quite neutral and you may need a larger dose of additional sauces and ingredients to add flavor.
7. Nine Spices Hot Pot
2180 Pleasant Hill Rd A3, Duluth, GA 3009
This fun spot has a revolving conveyor belt style hot pot, so you can enjoy this individually or as a small group. Simply pluck whichever fixin’s you’d like off the belt and add them to your pot!
8. Pop Pot

This Duluth outpost is a Taiwanese restaurant that serves up tons of different regional styles of hot pot. Slurp up their delicious Taiwanese style, dig into their Korean army hot pot, or gobble up their sukiyaki! Their popcorn chicken are also a delicious start to your meal.
9. Yummy Spicy
5164 Buford Hwy NE, Doraville, GA 30340
This restaurant is primarily known for the Sichuan cuisine, but they also have delicious broth based and dry hot pots. Their combination hot pot gets you a little bit of everything and is a total crowd pleaser.

This spot has become a fan favorite and thankfully they have locations all over Georgia from West Midtown to Conyers. They offer a nice variety of broth and meats to choose from so you’ll definitely find the flavor you’re looking for. Our favorite part? They’re offering AYCE everyday of the week at super affordable prices. During the week, you can do all you can eat lunch for just $19.99 and dinner for $29.99. You really can’t beat the prices and flavor KPOT is offering.
