West Midtown just keeps getting bougier and bougier. ✨ And Kinjo Room adds to this neighborhood’s list of trendy spots with a beautiful, intimate (this place seats no more than 50) atmosphere that’s perfect for date night. The cocktails are a huge highlight here, and presentation is stellar. The creator of MF Sushi is the brains behind this restaurant. Sample items from their sushi and sashimi menu, dig into their appetizers, and order items from the robata grill too!

2. North Italia

Multiple Locations

This popular Italian chain, originally opened in Arizona, has made its way to ATL and already opened a Buckhead and Perimeter location. Expect Italian and Italian American favorites like squid ink pasta, spicy rigatoni vodka, and shrimp scampi. They also have Sunday brunch featuring delicious items like banana coffee cake, short rib hash, and a breakfast carbonara pasta. And if you ask us, breakfast pasta is just the kind of innovation this country needs.

Critically acclaimed Chef Deborah VanTrece of Twisted Soul has just opened a new venture on Cascade Rd named for her mother and is “a celebration of hard-working moms everywhere.” The menu features an eclectic mix of global flavors: there’s Southern and Jamaican influence in items like jerk turkey wings, but then they also have a fish sauce Thai seasoned catfish with tamarind hot sauce.  They are also open for brunch!

We’ve long been fans of Budi’s Sushi, a sushi and Indonesian spot in the heart of Downtown. And now, Budi is bringing ramen and Indonesian flavors to Decatur with a new brunch and dinner venture called Ren By Budi’s! Ren By Budi’s brunch features an awesome mix of breakfast items such as pandan pancakes served with condensed milk and maple coconut cream, steak katsu and eggs. For dinner, you can get Indonesian favorites like mie goreng and soto madura.
