Where to Get A Fantastic Brunch In Alpharetta
Long gone are the days when you had to trek into the perimeter to get decent food. There’s tons of great options OTP, especially in Alpharetta, for an excellent brunch! Here are some fantastic brunch spots to add to your bucket list.
1. BB’s Bagels
770 McFarland Pkwy, Alpharetta, GA 30004
The best bagel in all of Metro Atlanta is in Alpharetta! And yup, it’s served out of a tin trailer. So while the ambiance and the interiors are very quaint and simple, you’re not going to find a bagel with a better chew than BB’s. Your kids (or you!) will delight in their fun rainbow rolls, and they’ve got every cream cheese flavor under the sun you can dream of. They tend to sell out, so go early.
2. Besties
5238 McGinnis Ferry Rd Alpharetta, GA 30005
What a cute spot! Besties is an empanada, tapas, and waffles spot started by Argentinian/European owners Carina Balonchard and Weren De Vliegher. Visit Besties in Alpharetta for a unique brunch experience, and start your morning with one of their liège waffles–made with a crystallized sugar–or “brussels” waffles (we recommend the dulce de leche!). They also serve 30 different flavors of empanadas–yes, 30!–if you want something savory to go with your sweet, or take it home for a snack later.
3. Carson Kitchen

Carson Kitchen has been a wonderful addition to downtown Alpharetta! The interiors are rustic, industrial and warm. They have a small but mighty brunch menu. Just listen to this: donut french toast, breakfast tacos, short rib and pork belly “garbage hash.” Yum! With a great pet friendly patio as well, what’s not to love to?
4. Maple Street Biscuit Company
50 Canton St Suite #113, Alpharetta, GA 30009
True to their name, this chain restaurant is serving up a pretty dang good biscuit! With fun biscuit + fillings combos like the Squawking Goat (our fave) and Sticky Maple, your next biscuit fix should be from this chain originally started in Jacksonville, Florida.
5. The Nest Cafe
58 Canton St Ste 101, Alpharetta, GA 30009
They got that lolli lolli. Lollipop waffles that is! Tasty coffee drinks that’ll warm you right up, crusty croissants, perfect pancakes, and beignets for days make this spot one of Alpharetta‘s finest brunches.
6. The Original Pancake House
5530 Windward Pkwy Suite 120A, Alpharetta, GA 30004
There’s no one that knows breakfast is the best meal of the day quite like the folks at the Original Pancake House know it. They’re famous for all their pancake iterations: from buttermilk, to swedish, to buckwheat, to a decadent Apple pancake and show-stopping Dutch baby. Operating since 1953, the Original Pancake House has been a delight ever since, and Alpharetta is lucky to have a great location.
7. South City Kitchen Avalon
9000 Avalon Blvd Alpharetta, GA 30009
In 1993, South City Kitchen opened on Crescent Avenue, a hidden side street in Midtown at the time. Now, nearly 30 years years later, SCK is an Atlanta institution, serving Southern classics in locations all over Atlanta. They’ve set up shop in the Hotel at Avalon where they’re serving up their famous bread baskets, fried chicken, and shrimp and grits in a very chic atmosphere.
8. Superica

For massive appetites and massive hangovers, there’s no better brunch option than Superica. Get a double or triple stack of their sweet hot cakes and refresh with an agua fresca. For something savory, dig into their chorizo, potato and eggs or their migas, two eggs scrambled with crispy corn tortillas, chorizo, jalapeños, cheese and refried beans. Enjoy their Sunday brunch from 11am-3pm!

For the best views with your brunch, seek higher ground at Up On the Roof in Alpharetta. For $25, dig into their carafe of mimosas. The bayou crab cakes, challah bread french toast, and breakfast poutine are also noteworthy at this rooftop spot! You can enjoy their weekend brunch menu from 11am to 3pm Saturdays and Sundays.
