10 Mouthwatering Black-Owned Food Trucks in Atlanta
You’ve got to love a great food truck, and there are so many delicious ones in town to add to your bucket list. Here are some of our favorite Black-owned food tracks that we just keep coming back to time and time again!
The Blaxican
Will Turner’s “The Blaxican” repeatedly tops all of the best food truck lists. Why? Because he makes “comida for your soul!” Their blaxi-sweet fries, buffalo chicken tacos, and collard green quesadillas are the truth. In short, soul food and Mexican food are some of the best cuisines out there, and when you combine the two, you get Blaxican MAGIC.
Cafe Bourbon Street
There’s a cajun food truck setting up shop at popular food truck park Triton Yards with a line that stretches on and on and on most weekends. And the reason why is pretty simple: big, powdery beignets. Jambalaya egg rolls. Bourbon ranch fries. Cajun Shrimp baskets. And the portions are generous, too! Check them out on Instagram for their schedule and go see what the hype is all about!
Candy World Drinks & Treats
Candy World Drinks & Treats makes the world a little sweeter! They are paradise for the sugar addict, with pecan pralines, candy filled drinks and slushes, lemonades, hot cocoa bombs, and even an unusual and totally delicious invention called candied grapes. Catch them most days at Triton Yards.
Flavor Rich Restaurant
You’ve got to love a hidden gem and Flavor Rich Food Truck/Restaurant is truly that. This food truck, nestled on Buford Highway in between Suwanee and Duluth, has just opened up a permanent brick and mortar location in the same area. Expect amazing eats like chicken and waffles, lobster rolls, and fish and grits. There are also chef’s specials frequently so you’ll have to keep coming back time and time again to try it all!
GAS Food Truck
GAS Food Truck is serving up creative and BLAZIN’ cannabis-themed eats all over town. Started by vegan couple Kelli Marshall and Jef Flemming who wanted to bring some more tasty and delicious vegan options to Atlanta, GAS Food Truck serves up a “How High” New York-style chopped cheese that we literally dream about. The bread. The vegan cheese. Need it now! Follow them on Instagram to see where they’ll be next.

Love At First Bite
Are you ready to fall in love? We sure are, and we may already have–there’s some seriously good stuff happening at Love At First Bite, including a pretty ridiculously delicious Heartthrob Burger! Or if that doesn’t tickle your fancy, their loaded jerk chicken fries, cajun shrimp pasta, and buttermilk shrimp po boy just might. Find Love At First Bite at Glover Park Brewery and Triton Yards most days, but follow them on Instagram to keep up with their schedule.
Paige’s Pastries & Bistro
Paige’s Pastries & Bistro is our new favorite discovery. Started by husband and wife duo Paige and Craig Bailey, this food truck does more than just phenomenal cheesecakes (though they KILL the game on that too–get the strawberry crunch). They’ve also got mouthwatering savory creations like their jacked up mac burger, which consists of a three cheese mac and cheese with BBQ chicken served over a burger with a side of cajun fries. Yeah. It’s nuts! Also phenomenal is the peach cobbler eggroll, so be sure to order it for a mix of savory + sweet!

Smith’s Gourmet Creations
OTP folks rejoice–Smith’s Gourmet Creations has some phenomenal eats and they’re frequently popping up at places like Glover Park Brewery. Their menu frequently changes, but that’s what’s so great about it. One day, you can chow down on some lemon pepper shrimp and the next, enjoy a totally decadent fried lobster roll.
Queen Churro
We are CHO you’re going to be NUTS about Queen Churro–especially their out-of-this-world chonut (churro + donut) creations! Or if you’ve got a hankering for ice cream, they do a milkshake + churro combo as well… AND chicken and churros, and just plain churros for the churro purist. Follow them on Instagram to see where they’ll be next!
Wonderful Tasting Food (WTF!) Food Truck
Great Atlanta spots like Cafe Sunflower and Slutty Vegan first proved to us that vegan food does not have to be boring, but if you need further proof, then just look at what they’re cooking up at WTF! (Wonderful Tasting Food) Food Truck. This ain’t your average veggie bowl–it’s vegan fast food that’s a glorious sight to behold. Find them posted up in Triton Yards or the Howell Mill Food Truck Park most days.
