Best Eatertainment Venues in Atlanta
Eatertainment is a pretty uncomfortable portmanteau, but there’s not an obviously better way to describe that specific type of venue – one that prioritizes both a delicious, mouthwatering menu and an engaging, fun night out. Folks throughout Atlanta may have noticed more and more of these venues popping up – from a bowling alley with fancy, five star appetizers to a 30,000 square foot venue where you can spend hours having a blast. We’re sharing a few of our favorite “Entertainment” venues where you can plan date night or a crazy evening with your crew.

1. Battle and Brew
Multiple Locations
Battle and Brew is almost like your favorite Twitch streamer opened a restaurant. With a focus on programming tons of gaming nights – and with multiple consoles/monitors for some serious MMORPG gaming – Battle and Brew may seem a little intimidating for a non-gamer just looking for a night out. The newer location at the Battery should have a more accessible vibe, open to anyone who wants to play Pac Man or participate in a bracketed gaming tournament. Look out for their burgers when picking something from the menu – they have some of the best burgers in all of Sandy Springs, specifically the il Classico with extra American cheese, pickles, shaved onion and their in-house “special sauce”.
2. Bowlero
Multiple Locations
Like all things that become popular, the entertainment trend started in New York almost two decades ago with Bowlmor lanes near NYU. As the high end bowling company grew over time with venues all across the country, the brand changed with it to Bowlero. More recently, it’s made its way to Atlanta with locations at Atlantic Station and in Marietta. At Bowlero, they have a huge menu with a focus on extremely shareable plates. Split the Alley sampler with buffalo wings, tenders, fries, cheesy breadsticks and mozzarella sticks, along with their enormous shareable cocktails – the Dunk Tank (with 3 types of Bacardi), the Mega Mule and the Watermelon Large Marge (with tequila and triple sec!)

3. Flight Club
1055 Howell Mill Rd Suite 140
Atlanta, GA 30318
(404) 301-8003
One of the newest entrants to Atlanta’s Entertainment scene, Flight Club is focused on nailing the bullseye – both literally and figuratively. Schedule some time for one on one darts with a friend, or with a big group – just make sure you leave room for dinner. The menu is focused on high end dishes made with high end ingredients – like a Lobster Elote Dip, Prime Beef slides, Oysters on the half shell and even a Cronut for dessert. Fun and fancy are all wrapped up in one place at Flight Club! They even have a bottomless brunch option on the weekends, the mimosa tower is really something.
4. Ormsby’s
1170 Howell Mill Rd Ste P20
Atlanta, GA 30318
(404) 968-2033
These guys have been doing Entertainment in Atlanta for nearly two decades. An early tenant in West Midtown during the neighborhoods recent ascension, Ormsby’s is a favorite for the young professionals living in the area. It’s a great place for a drunken game of Bocce in the basement, along with shuffleboard, darts, pool and more. Split some boiled peanuts or okononmiyaki fries (featuring sriracha mayo and hoisin) with friends or if you’re having dinner for two, try the Panhandle Mac and Cheese with gulf shrimp, local smoked sausage and a house mornay sauce.
5. Painted Duck
976 Brady Ave NW
Atlanta, GA 30318
(404) 352-0048
Another popular West Midtown venue, the Painted Duck has speakeasy vibes, but a very relaxed atmosphere once you enter. They feature duck pin bowling, which uses a bocce sized ball to take down pins. They have a great small plate menu with tempura onion rings, duck phat fries, and a whiskey glazed turkey leg, but try to come with a big crew and order “The Painted Duck” – a whole roasted peking duck, with peppered bacon, lettuce, tomato, and grilled onions – served family style with King’s Hawaiian rolls.
6. Painted Pin
737 Miami Cir NE
Atlanta, GA 30324
(404) 814-8736
From the owners of the Painted Duck, The Painted Pin is a beautiful venue in Buckhead’s Miami Circle, with great programming and live music on the weekends, and mouthwatering dishes to elevate the typical night out bowling. They have great small plates on the menu like ranch and cheddar pork rinds, a meatball quest funded, and waffle battered hot dogs, along with awesome wood fired pizzas. Plus they’re family friendly with a good kids menu and desserts they’ll love, like a house chipwich and Rum Raisin Bread pudding bites.
7. Puttshack
1115 Howell Mill Rd
Atlanta, GA 30318
(404) 738-7888
Another entertainment venue in West Midtown, Puttshack is like the set decorators from Guardians of the Galaxy and Blade Runner designed a place to play mini golf indoors. With neon backgrounds built for Instagram, the fun part is a no brainer at Puttshack. And like all good Entertainment venues, the menu focuses on shareable plates but with an elevated approach – featured dishes include Wood Fired Thai Octopus, a Maryland Crab Dip, a house made poutine and more. The bartenders are also built to impress – make sure to try something from their cocktail menu.
8. Punch Bowl Social
875 Battery Ave SE Ste 720
Atlanta, GA 30339
(470) 443-1443
If you’ve been to the Battery before or after a Braves game, you’ll see that Punch Bowl Social is almost always bumping. That’s because they’ve got a huge facility and tons of options to keep you busy – between bowling, board games, arcade games and karaoke, there’s always something fun happening at Punch Bowl Social. The menu also features super satisfying dishes to dig into instead of a ballpark dog, like Bison Chili Cheese Fries, Chicken n’ Waffles, Steak Frites and much more.
9. Top Golf/Good Game
Multiple Locations
Top Golf is an incredibly popular night out with friends, thanks to its ability to make gold accessible to folks of any skill level. With 3 locations around Atlanta, Top Golf venues are basically a gamified driving range but with elevated platforms and the latest golf tech to make it as easy as possible. Top Golf also has top quality dishes coming from their kitchen, with a focus on stuff you can eat with your hands, like wings, chips and dip, tacos, flatbreads, burgers and more. Good Game, created by Top Golf, brings a similar experience (and menu) to a smaller space thanks to digital screens – find it on your next visit to the Battery.

10. Your 3rd Spot
400 Chattahoochee Row NW
Atlanta, GA 30318
(770) 230-3033
Perhaps the biggest “entertainment” space with the most to do in Atlanta is at Your 3rd Spot. This new venue which opened at mixed use development The Works in Underwood Hills, is already drawing big crowds and parties thanks to its array of options. Choose between darts, corn hole, curling, pinball, arcade games, table games like foosball and air hockey, and a large selection of board games to play with groups big and small. They also have huge screens throughout the whole space, making it the perfect venue to watch the next big game. With beard nominated chef Stuart Rogers designing and innovating the menu, it’s clear they spared no expense on the food. The menu is divided between comfort food like Crab fritters, meatballs, and pork ribs, along with fancier fare like oysters, bone marrow, and beef tartare.

Have you answered the call for pinfall? This unique hybrid of football and bowling lets teams square off in an attempt to take each other’s pins down. Pin and Proper is a whole 8,000+ square foot facility for this relatively new game in Grant Park. In addition to a great day of team building or just fun with friends, they also offer a great menu with delicious, easy to eat dishes like Fried Pickles, Pretzel Bites, Flatbreads, Sandwiches and more. Make sure you make room for the fried Oreos!
