Buttery, beautiful crab legs can be a “special occasion” kind of dish – you’re either digging in during a date night, graduation dinner, or if you’re on vacation. But for some folks, crab legs are a year-round dish, where the special occasion might be a day that ends in “y”. We’ve come up with a list of great places around Atlanta where you can dig into crab legs – whether it’s your classic cold bar approach, your beachside bar-style crab legs, or a cajun seafood boil crab leg.
1. Atlanta Fish Market
265 Pharr Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30305
(404) 262-3165
With the Southeast’s widest selection of fresh seafood, and a menu printed twice daily, Atlanta Fish Market’s comfortable, neighborhood atmosphere is a relaxing retreat from the hustle and bustle of Buckhead. Everything here is fresh: fish are flown in daily! Served with whipped potato & thin green beans, 1.25 lbs of their Alaskan Red King Crab Legs are sure winners! Anything on their menu is: from sushi and oysters to their seafood platters and crab cakes.
2. BonTon
674 Myrtle St NE, Atlanta, GA 30308
(404) 996-6177
At BonTon the vibe is kooky but the food is classy. With Cajun-Vietnamese influences across the whole menu, you can get crab legs served alongside boiled potatoes and corn for something classic. If you’re looking to be more adventurous with your shellfish, try the charbroiled crab claws with garlic herb butter to start, or the smoked snow crab served with drawn butter.

955 Memorial Dr SE ste 510, Atlanta, GA 30316
(404) 525-2424
Girl Diver is a relative newcomer to the East Side’s dining scene, but a welcome one. With multiple dips and seasonings for their Snow Crab and Alaskan King Crab options, they have something for every palate – Old Bay, Green Curry, Garlic Butter, Cocktail Sauce, and their “Girl Diver Special” are all excellent options. They’ve got great bartenders and an impressive drink menu – cocktails and crab nights are always a good time at Girl Diver.
5. Hook, Line and Schooner
4600 W Village Way Suite 3009, Smyrna, GA 30080
(770) 333-3338
This family owned and family friendly seafood restaurant in Smyrna has incredible crab legs, but our favorite part of the dining experience was the service. They really care about your visit and experience, and were attentive throughout. Look for grilled crab legs and snow crab legs on the menu, in addition to lots of other classic seafood dishes. They also have lots of mouthwatering cakes brought in regularly from a local bakery, so save room for dessert!

With your choice of Seasoning: B.B.Q, Cajun, Garlic Butter, Kenzie’s Infusion Mix, Jerk, Curry, or Lemon Pepper (Kenzie’s Infusion Mix is everything above except lemon pepper, curry, and BBQ).
7. Juicy Crab
Multiple Locations – Check website for details
Juicy Crab has quickly become ATL’s go-to crab boil in a bag restaurant. With multiple locations throughout the metro Atlanta area, there’s likely one less than a 15-minute drive from where you live. In addition to tons of other shellfish options, you can get snow crab legs, Dungeness, and king crab legs, along with whole blue crabs.
8. Marisqueria El Veneno
5072 Buford Hwy NE, Doraville, GA 30340

Another excellent Latin-focused seafood spot, Marisqueria El Veneno focuses on food in “Estilo Nayarit”, meaning inspired by the region of Nayarit in Mexico. A tourist destination thanks to its beautiful beaches and Aztec ruins, the seafood in Nayarit is excellent, and El Veneno has brought the flavors of Mexican seafood to Buford Highway.
9. The Pirate’s Boil
2451 Cobb Pkwy SE, Smyrna, GA 30080

You can’t miss this popular gastropub if you’re walking anywhere on Memorial near Grant Park. With one of the City’s best roof decks, they’ve been churning out delicious boils, buckets of beer, and crab legs for years. 1219 Virginia Ave, East Point, GA 30344
(404) 767-1569
This East Point crab-forward classic restaurant has been in operation since 1979 – and it’s just as popular today. The big appeal is their buckets – they have steamed seafood buckets with Alaskan King crab and snow crab – along with other shellfish – served with a glorious garlic butter. They’re open until 4 am, so you can get your shellfish with a side of saucy social interaction.
