1. 9 Mile Station
Ponce City Market, 1829, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30308
Right atop Atlanta’s most popular tourist destination lies one of the most beautiful views of the city. End or begin any trip to Ponce City Market with a ride to the rooftop and a meal at 9 Mile Station. Pro tip: make a reservation to avoid the $15 rooftop entrance fee–though there is a $25 minimum spend per person at the restaurant–and you can enjoy the games and drinks outside the restaurant on the rooftop afterwards.
2. Canoe
4199 Paces Ferry Rd SE, Atlanta, GA 30339
You don’t last 20+ years in Atlanta’s competitive restaurant scene without doing almost everything right. And while trendy newcomers come and go, Canoe has rightfully taken its place as one of Atlanta’s most beloved restaurants. Typically when a place has great ambiance or a beautiful view, the restaurant’s food may only be so so, but Canoe is one of the select few places where the food is so damn good the lush gardens and bucolic view of the Chattahoochee River are almost an afterthought. Hundreds of proposals have occured right along the banks of the river here. Go there for brunch and get the pastry basket!

Six Feet Under is your best bet in Atlanta for baskets and baskets of great fried seafood, hushpuppies, and crispy fries. Both their Grant Park and West Midtown locations have some of Atlanta’s best rooftop patios and beautiful views, though if we had to pick one we would say West Midtown’s view is a little prettier.
