10 Vegetarian Restaurants So Delicious You’ll Give PEAS A Chance
The Atlanta vegan and vegetarian dining scene has never been better. For those trying to transition to a more plant-based lifestyle, or just trying to incorporate a meatless Monday into your weekly schedule, these Atlanta vegan and vegetarian restaurants will more than satisfy.
1. Soul Vegetarian
Giving up the soul food you might have grown up with is difficult, but thanks to Soul Vegetarian, you can still get the same tastes from your childhood. The portions are super generous, and the vegan mac and cheese and cornbread is delicious! Locations on Highland Avenue and Ralph David Abernathy Blvd.
2. Herban Fix
If you’re looking for a more upscale date night vegan spot, Herban Fix is just the ticket. Wendy Chang is the owner and chef behind Herban Fix, and she’s cooking up delicious, healthy, vegan meals with Pan-Asian influences. Pro tip: They offer an all-you-can eat $25 Sunday brunch that’s a great value.
3. Cinnaholic
The fact that this spot is vegan is the last thing on our mind with rolls as delicious as they are! Cinnaholic’s over-the-top cinnamon rolls are a plant-based cheat meal we’re always craving. Order one up plain, or add decadent toppings like chocolate frosting, cookie dough, chocolate chips, and more for your own cinnamon roll creation.
4. Cafe Sunflower
The brunch at Cafe Sunflower is out-of-this world, and you’re going to love their vegan Pad Thai and decadent chocolate mousse cake! Their Sandy Springs location recently shuttered its doors, but their Buckhead location is still kicking if you can support these local guys during this time.
5. Tassili’s Raw Reality Cafe
We’re hooked on the enormous and flavorful wraps at Tassili’s Raw Reality Cafe. And it’s all raw vegan! You can’t go wrong with the Punany wrap-especially when you add on their Pad Thai Sauce for just a bit of extra flavor!
6. The Loving Hut
The Loving Hut is a chain of vegan restaurants with locations worldwide, and lucky for us, they’ve got locations in Norcross and Sandy Springs, too! You’ll love the Singaporean noodles and house curry.
7. Viva La Vegan
Hole-in-the-wall spot Viva La Vegan has diners raving about how addictive and realistic everything tastes, and they’re pretty much always packed! Their “shrimp” po boys are incredible, and you won’t believe to stop eating their buffalo fried cauliflower. Available on DoorDash!
8. Chat Patti Indian Vegetarian Restaurant
Indian cuisine is perhaps the cuisine most naturally suited for vegan eaters, but Chat Patti’s vegetarian focus makes this spot an even better option. Their Special Chaat is a unique and sweet take on the typically savory Chaat dish, and their Vegetable Thali is a great way to grab a little taste of everything!
9. Avocado Vegan Cafe
Avocado Vegan Cafe is serving the needs of the Johns Creek vegan community and others alike! They’ve got a flavorful jerk tofu, a hearty meatball sub, and an extra flavorful falafel sandwich you’ll love!
10. Atlanta Food Truck Park
For *tons* of vegan options all located in one spot, Atlanta Food Truck Park on Howell Mill Rd is the best place to stop. There’s plenty of delicious vegan spots parked up all the time, like GAS Food Truck, 2 Scoops ATL, and The Pouch Bar. Follow them on Instagram for hours of operation.
