1. Arnette’s Chop Shop

This steakhouse is the upscale dining experience that we always crave for a special occasion or when we just want a great meal. Mouthwatering classic steakhouse sides, a fabulous upstairs open-air bar, and of course, prime cuts like wagyu strips and tomahawk short rib will keep you coming back again and again. End your meal with their truly impressive Baked Alaska!
2. Avellino’s Pizzeria
1328 Windsor Pkwy | Atlanta, GA 30319
With a comforting charm and the freshest pizza in Brookhaven, Avellino’s offers an authentic Italian cuisine with choices of Antipasti, Salads, and more. You can never go wrong with Italian, so why not make it local? Make your own pizza, choose a pasta that draws your attention, and finish off with dessert and your favorite wine from their collection!
3. C&S Seafood & Oyster Bar

A beloved fine dining seafood favorite has made its way to Brookhaven! C&S Seafood & Oyster Bar flies in the freshest seafood possible, then uses Southern and Cajun/Creole influences to make one of the best menus in ATL, period. Start with fresh oysters or anything from their cold bar. Dig in to grilled, broiled or blackened market fish, steak and chops or crab and lobster. Then finish with their cheesecake du jour, white chocolate bread pudding, or creme brûlée – the perfect end to a perfect night out.
4. Eataliano Kitchen

With the original location in Brookhaven, you’ll feel the comfort of a local spot as soon as you walk in. If you want an easy-going Italian meal, join Eataliano Kitchen and either sit inside or out on the patio for some air. Start off with some Calamari Fritti, followed by an artisan sandwich choice, and make sure to stack up the sides. You’re in for a great meal!
5. Fox Bros Bar-B-Q
4058 Peachtree Rd NE, Brookhaven, GA 30319
Fox Bros has consistently been one of our favorite BBQ spots and there are a handful of locations around town. From the Big Tex sandwich with brisket to the frito pie and mac and cheese, everything here has so much flavor. The location at The Works has a few extra options on their menu like their house salad, which is delicious with turkey, and the Foxy Melt sandwich, so we recommend trying that spot, too!
6. Haven

Seek haven at this fun Brookhaven spot! We love Haven’s vibey neighborhood feel and the ever-changing seasonal menu they offer featuring delicious small plates, entrees, cocktails and more. Sit at the bar and enjoy your meal or make a reservation to sit in the dining room or on the patio when the weather is just right. They also offer a Sunday brunch menu with favorites like the Smoked Salmon “Benny,” Brioche French Toast, and of course you have to top it all off with Michel’s Bloody Mary!
7. Petite Violette

Enjoy the live French music that plays most nights, the lovely ambiance, and outstanding dishes such as the French Onion Soup, Beef Wellington filet, and Sea Bass Florentine at Petite Violette. You can also order them for catering, or rent out their private dining rooms and facilities to host your special event! They also host a dinner theater which is a super fun and different dining experience you should check out on the weekends!
8. Piraye Kitchen

Piraye Kitchen, which was previously known as Secreto, is the place for reimagined favorites, taking your Southern comforts and modernizing them in a fantastic farm-to-table way. It’s impossible the narrow down the best items on the menu when you’re working with such a star-studded roster. But if we had to pick…the Fried Chicken is a dish that will warm your heart with its impeccable flavor, not to mention the accompanying components of mashed potatoes, garlic green beans, and smoked bacon jalapeño gravy. Plus, the best burger you may ever eat is the Piraye Wagyu Burger, topped with housemade ketchup, mustard, caramelized onions, pickles, and American cheese. Oh yeah, and their bar program is top-notch, so whether you’re coming hungry or thirsty, or both, you’re going to leave happy.
9. Roc South Cuisine

Roc South Cuisine and Cocktails elevates the soul food scene on Buford Highway with a refined twist. Specializing in standout seafood dishes like Seafood Egg Rolls, Cajun Shrimp, and Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes, Roc South delivers a four-star culinary experience. Paired with top-notch service, this spot redefines Southern comfort with a sophisticated flair.
10. Southern Custard

As everyone knows, after a wonderful meal you have to end it with something sweet. And what’s better than heading over to Southern Custard for dessert!? During the summertime, they stay open late so those fun summer nights can end on a sweet note! Everyday of the week you can find the classic chocolate and vanilla, but be sure to check their online calendar for their special flavor of the day. Brown Butter Cake, Peach, Heath Bar, Chocolate Almond Chip and Black Raspberry are just a few of the delicious flavors you can expect to try here.
11. Terra Terroir

This stunning Brookhaven spot is serving up modern American fare with a fun twist on every dish. Their patio is a huge draw here, which is heated in the winter, because it feels like you’ve been transported to a garden in France. It truly is a beautiful setting for a meal. Enjoy menu items like the scallop crudo, rice crispy treats, lamb lollipop chops, Terra rib-brisket burger, apple pie pizza and more inventive creations! Don’t skip out on the cocktail list either.
12. 26 Thai

26 Thai’s food is something to chat about, but the ambiance makes it even more special. Beautiful plates, beautiful environment, what more could you ask for? Get your favorite roll of sushi, order as many Thai teas as you desire, and enjoy the authentic spot located in Town Brookhaven. And don’t miss out on their phenomenal apps like the crab cheese rolls and the signature wings.
13. Verde Taqueria

Every once in a while, and for some of us once a week, you get a craving for Mexican food and when in Brookhaven, Verde is the place to go to cure that craving. With a good vibe, great food and drinks, and a patio, it doesn’t get much better than this. Start off with some Loaded Queso for the table with ground beef, sour cream, pico de gallo and some guacamole to top it off. But don’t fill up on that because they have all your favorite entrees from tacos and quesadillas to bowls. Try one of their infused margaritas and you’re in for a great night.
14. Vero Pizza

Vero is a Brookhaven gem devoted to crafting authentic Neapolitan-style pizza using the freshest ingredients. Located downtown next to its sister restaurants Valenza and Haven, Vero was born from restaurateur Michel Arnette’s inspiration after a family trip to Naples. In addition to their signature pies, the menu features small plates, salads, and paninis, ensuring there’s something for everyone—even if pizza isn’t your go-to.
