Crawfish Shack

Cajun food – REAL cajun food – right on Buford Highway? Oh yes. It’s real, and it’s spectacular. But this Cajun food comes from an unlikely source. The owner and chef, Hieu is of Vietnamese decent and you can taste some of that influence sprinkled throughout the menu. Lemongrass in the boil and lobster rolls unlike any you’ve ever had. This place is incredible. When you’re taking a journey down Buford Highway, this is a must stop.

Fried Shrimp Poboy

Still one of the best sandwiches in Atlanta. Fresh, sweet shrimp are tossed in a light cornmeal batter and fried just enough. And that remoulade? Please….more…now….

Lobster Roll

Famous for their crawfish (hence the name), Crawfish Shack has begun to spread it’s wings into all things lobster. There are two types you can get. Our favorite is a Connecticut style roll, served with 1 pound plus of warmed lobster meat, garlic butter, tarragon leaves and lemon. A traditional New England style cold lobster roll is also available.
