Tin Lizzy’s Celebrates National Tequila Day

logo (2)

Thursday, July 24th is National Tequila Day!

To set the party atmosphere and host the day, all Tin Lizzy’s locations will be featuring 1-ounce pours of 1800 Tequila on special for $2 each, which patrons can choose to take as a floater in a margarita or as a good, old-fashioned shot with the usual salt and lime fixings. The restaurant is also offering its famous $4 house margarita made with house tequila, orange liqueur, sour mix and garnished with a lime wedge. Traditional margaritas are available for the purists, while clever innovations such as the Beach House with 1800’s new coconut-infused tequila paired with orange liqueur and sour mix take the imbiber straight to a mental paradise. Flavored margaritas are regularly shaken and poured with flavors like grapefruit, pomegranate, mango, strawberry, sangrita and raspberry. Tin Lizzy’s bartenders perhaps have the most fun whipping up specialty drinks such as the Mexi-Mule, a sultry romancing of Jose Cuervo and orange liqueur with ginger beer and lime juice, and the Pomegranate Cilantro, a lively concoction with Don Julio silver, pomegranate liqueur, sour mix and fresh cilantro.
