Tuesday’s Great Call | One Midtown Kitchen

Deciding on where to eat can be tough in a city as full of great spots as ours. That’s why, every Tuesday we’re making the call, and giving you the inside scoop. This is Tuesday’s Great Call.

Where You’re Sitting

When the weather is gorgeous, head straight for the covered patio in the back. Overlooking an out of the way portion of Piedmont Park, you’ll get the sense you’ve left Atlanta and can enjoy a meal on bright patio without the noise that in-town dining generally brings.

What’s in Your Glass

With a ‘Classic American’ menu that ranges in ethnicity and goes from classic to adventurous, there is no real pegging One Midtown Kitchen down. Our suggestion is to let the food guide your drinking. With a deep wine list and a knowledgeable staff, you’ll leave without any regrets.

What’s On Your Plate

When a restaurant has been around for 12 years, there will definitely be some favorites one the menu. At One Midtown Kitchen, there are 2 such dishes that you must try if you’re here. The first is the griddled goat cheese; a piece of brioche stuffed with goat cheese and sautéed in butter, the second is the Kit Kat Bar; an homage to the classic candy bar that has praline crust, a chocolate cream, and a scoop of malted chocolate ice-cream. Oh yeah…bring the stretchy pants.
