Lobster Rolls at Kathleen’s Catch (Johns Creek)
The only thing wrong with this roll is that Miss Kathleen doesn’t give you a second one for free! Each roll is buttered and toasted to mouthwatering perfection and served with a container of seasoned lobster meat- you prepare it yourself. Seating is limited at Kathleen’s Catch, so you may have no choice but to scarf your lobster roll down in the parking lot! I think I broke a record eating this lobster roll so quickly…
Amore Mio Pizza at Varuni Napoli (Midtown)
I love my amore mio. I think that is a bilingual paradigm, and slightly cliché, but you have to taste it to believe in its goodness. This was not my first time encountering the pizza I love and it certainly isn’t the last. The stand out ingredients on this pizza are: roasted artichokes, a house-made salami, mushrooms, black olives, basil and the perfect combination of fresh buffalo mozzarella and pecorino romano cheeses.
Smoked Salmon and Potato Pancakes at Seed (Marietta)
For all the brunching….um…ladies out there, here is the dish that can’t be topped. It’s name sounds appetizing, but still leaves some details behind until this beauty reaches your table. From bottom to top: dill crème fraiche, 2 potato pancakes, a slender layer of lox, asparagus, 2 poached eggs, generously dripping with hollandaise. This is the brunch bite of all bites.
