Best Thing We Ate Last Week: Taste of Atlanta

BTWATW_Blog1c

You could say it’s always a feeding frenzy at Atlanta Eats’ HQ, but to us it’s just another hard day’s work. We’re sharing the best things we ate last week to give you some food inspiration for the week ahead. Check out AtlantaEatsTv on InstagramFacebook, and Twitter for a constant stream of pictures if this doesn’t quite cure your food porn fix…

This week, we’re giving you our take on some of the best bites at Taste of Atlanta…

Gusto!

We can’t get enough Gusto! as is, but a bite-sized cup did not deter us from trying another one of their flavor combos. Gusto! served up bites of their chipotle mango avocado bowls and we were happy to have a taste of our favorite comfort food. The mini-bowl tasted fresh out of the restaurant. They definitely showed off the fact that they can be catering connoisseurs as well as the familiar bowl-assemblers.

Morelli’s Ice Cream

We want some Mor(e)! Morelli’s must have taken the title of longest line throughout the festival because EVERYONE wanted a taste of their fabulous treats. There was not just one delicious flavor, but 4! The 2 we managed to snap pictures of before devouring were chocolate brownie bourbon and guava cream cheese. The other flavors served were maple bacon and Almond Joy. You could not choose wrong.

Bartaco

Bartaco has become an Atlanta staple in record time, and their tacos are still tasty as ever! Dainty dishes of duck tacos were served at their booth which was a great break from the typical fish taco order! For a quick plating, Bartaco did a great job presenting each dish beautifully.
