Best Thing We Ate Last Week

You could say it’s always a feeding frenzy at Atlanta Eats’ HQ, but to us it’s just another hard day’s work. We’re sharing the best things we ate last week to give you some food inspiration for the week ahead. Check out AtlantaEatsTv on InstagramFacebook, and Twitter for a constant stream of pictures if this doesn’t quite cure your food porn fix…

Ecco (Midtown)

You’ve probably heard the buzz…or echos…about Ecco stepping up to the plate and consistently serving incredible food from their Midtown location. We’ve never heard a bad word about Ecco nor have we had a bad taste from the restaurant. This time around, we ordered the Orecchiette with heirloom tomatoes, roof-top basil, grana padano and ’Nduja bread crumbs. It was incredible.

TCBY (Sandy Springs)

When was the last time you went to a froyo place and didn’t do it yourself? Throwback to 15 years ago and there was a frozen yogurt spot on every corner, where you asked to taste specific flavors and let someone create a pretty dessert just for you! Sandy Springs is the only TCBY that still takes the old-fashioned route when it comes to frozen yogurt. It is a hidden gem and we’re ready for another taste only 2 days later.

Lusca (Buckhead)

If you want “Chic in the City” get over to Lusca, pronto. The dimly- lit, seafood-centered, artsy Atlanta escape is right in between Buckhead and Midtown, but you’ll swear you’re in a different city altogether. As we said, they are notoriously good at serving seafood. Their frito misto appetizer plate with a selection of fried oysters, anchovies, fennel and lemon with a side of remoulade is a perfect representation of their reputation. A must order!
